30 Years • Brodrick Kudron

Brodrick Kudron says that Lighthouse is more than an after school program. It is a family complete with hugs, food, games, and opportunities. Brodrick started as a Lighthouse youth in 7th grade, graduated high school, and served five years in the U.S. Navy, which he says is due to encouragement and support from Lighthouse volunteers. Now he is back in Lincoln, enrolled as a freshman in the Fashion Design Program at UNL, and a Youth Program Coordinator at Lighthouse. He loves working with kids after school, playing games, and listening and talking with them about their experiences and aspirations. He also loves to help guide them as they navigate into the incredible men and women they will become. Brodrick is happy to be a part of the Lighthouse family that took him in and helped provide him with opportunities. He feels fortunate to be able to pay it forward.
