My name is Alex Hughes and I was born and raised here in Lincoln, Nebraska and graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School in 2017. After graduation I went on to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I graduated with my Bachelor’s of Education and Human Sciences with a focus on secondary social science education as well as child, youth & family studies.

When trying to figure out what I wanted to do post graduation I knew I wanted to help people but was not sure how. My favorite thing about my position is being able to pair my love for teaching, helping people and the great community Lincoln is.
